Against precarious work—shorter working hours with full wage compensation—Down with fascism and imperialist wars
April 23, 2026: Call by the International Coordination Group (ICOG) for May 1, 2026: In the Middle East, the danger of a global conflagration has intensified enormously following the imperialist attack by the U.S. and Israel on Iran and Lebanon. Russia’s war against Ukraine continues unabated. Worldwide, the shifting of the burdens of war and crisis onto workers and their families through price hikes—such as for gas, gasoline, or diesel—is placing an enormous strain on people. While billionaires like Elon Musk grow ever richer, hundreds of millions worldwide are fighting for their very survival.

Many women in the US took part in the resistance against Trump's ICE terror groups in bitter cold. He had to withdraw them. Over the past three years, around 30 million people have demonstrated against the genocide in Gaza by the Israeli government. In workplaces and among young people, too, protests against layoffs, precarious employment, and for a future without exploitation and oppression are on the rise.
